Police in Arizona charged a man with murder after they say he beat a man who went into a gas station bathroom after his teen daughter.
According to CBS affiliate KPHO, Melvin Harris stopped at a gas station in Phoenix with his 16-year-old daughter. She told investigators a man came into the restroom and shook her stall door. Harris ultimately confronted the man. Harris said the man, identified as Leon Armstrong, took a swing first, according to court records. Witnesses said Harris hit and kicked Armstrong repeatedly. Harris suffered a broken nose and brain injuries and eventually died at the hospital.
